Set up safely Use a firm, non-slip surface and begin in a stable, comfortable starting position.
Establish your foundation Place the feet, knees, or hands carefully and distribute your weight evenly.
Align the joints Keep the knees, hips, shoulders, and wrists tracking comfortably without locking or forcing them.
Lengthen the spine Create a tall, spacious spine and keep the neck in a natural continuation of it.
Move into the pose Keep palms together gently and shoulders relaxed. Move slowly and stop before pain or strain.
Refine the posture Relax unnecessary tension in the jaw and shoulders while maintaining gentle muscular support.
Breathe and hold Breathe slowly and naturally Stay for the recommended duration only while comfortable.
Release with control Return gradually to the starting position and pause before repeating or changing sides.
Avoid forcing range or holding the breath.
Stop if wrists/shoulders hurt.
Increase duration gradually or combine with seated meditation/breath awareness.
